Hannah Xiaoyun Wu, Ph.D.

Research Data Scientist

Hannah Wu is a Research Data Scientist at the National Policing Institute. She has more than 7 years of experience applying modern statistics, data wrangling, data visualization, and advanced analytic techniques to complex problems in the public safety domain. During her time at the Institute, she developed a full-stack website that allows users to view, search, and download case files associated with federal litigations against local law enforcement agencies in the United States.

Hannah has a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Computer and Information Technology at the University of Pennsylvania.
